Minerva Glass (ミネルバ・グラス, Mineruba Gurasu?), a Famous and Professional Tennis Player, is a minor character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background[]
Minerva Glass and her brother, Apollo Glass, are British - German of descent. At some point, Minerva and Apollo lived together in Japan with their British Mother Juno Glass after she was hospitalized there for Eye Surgery. After several months, Minerva grew accustomed to Japanese Culture, being able speak the Japanese Language very well.
As a Professional Tennis Player, she placed first in Wimbledon for five consecutive years and ranked Number 1, thus earning the nickname "Grass Court Queen".
Minerva is formerly coached by Professional Tennis Player Ares Ashley, who was coached by Minerva's Father before. Before Apollo was born, her father died in a tragic accident while on his way to Ares' Official Tennis Match. With Ares bearing so much guilt, he decided to stop coaching Minerva as he blamed himself for her dad's death, an event which saddened Minerva greatly.

Minerva Glass appears to be a fairly tall woman with a fair skin tone, silver eyes and a tied blonde hair. Furthermore, she is usually seen wearing casual clothes with a cap and shades to avoid many people bugging her, considering that she is a celebrity.
Personality[]
Minerva Glass is a friendly and cheerful person. She took the trouble of going to the airport before Ran and Kogoro Mouri left for Japan in order to thank Ran Mouri for an e-mail she had sent her.
