'The Fist of Blue Sapphire (名探偵コナン 紺青の拳, Hepburn: Meitantei Konan Konjō no Fisuto?) is the twenty-third movie of the Detective Conan anime series released in Japan on April 19, 2019 containing 110 minutes of running time.
Plot[]
The world's greatest blue sapphire, the "blue lapis fist", said to have sunk in a pirate ship in the late 19th century, on the coasts of Singapore. A local millionaire plots to retrieve it, and when it's exhibited in an exhibition at the Singaporean Marina Sands hotel, a murder takes place.

- This was nominated for the 43rd Japan Academy Film Prize for Animation of the Year along with Weathering with You, Lupin III: The First, One Piece Stampede and Her Blue Sky. It had received an "Award of Excellence." [1]
- The first interaction between Ran and "Arthur Hirai" is reminiscent of the encounter between Ran and Conan in the earliest parts of the series.
- This movie marks the second time Conan entered a country illegally, the first being Lupin the 3rd vs. Detective Conan.
